Each item is scored on a 3-point scale1: 2: Normal—achieves goal without any assistance; 1: Modified method but achieves goal independent of physical assistance from another person; 0: Unable to achieve independently.
A total score (0-18) can be achieved by summing the scores for all the individual items.1
